I then left the U.K to pursue a post-doctoral fellowship at Brooklyn College, CUNY, where I also taught child development as an adjunct assistant professor. In our search for faculty positions, my Taiwanese husband and I were concerned about the slim chances of working in the same university, but we were very fortunate to do so here at National Taiwan University.
I specialize in Forensic Developmental Psychology, an inter-disciplinary field that applies theory and research in developmental psychology to criminal justice issues. My research aims to identify the best ways of accessing children and youths’ autobiographical and eyewitness memory and maximizing the value of the information they provide. I teach a wide range of courses including General Psychology, Forensic Developmental Psychology, and Family Psychology. Being able to teach and do research with the brilliant students here at NTU makes my time here really worthwhile.
