Programs
１. College of Science Development Fund
The mission of the College of Science is to nurture the next generation of scientists while pursuing academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration on a global scale, and social responsibility. To remain internationally competitive in this changing world, the College of Science has established the Development Fund to focus on curriculum development, engagement of Chair Professorships and Outstanding Young Scholars programs, faculty subsidies and student financial aid, and teaching and research enhancements. All of these programs are aimed at attracting greater talent, boosting teaching and research capacity, providing a better learning environment, and upgrading facilities. We would like to fund all of these high-impact initiatives. We are committed to making the best use of the funds, in the best interest of the students and faculty, and for promotion of outstanding scholarship.
Please note that a 7% administration fee will be imposed on every donation made.
２. Earth Science & Sustainable Development Building Fund
The College of Science is seeking to renovate and enlarge facilities for research in Earth Science and Sustainable Development. A plan for the construction of a new building consisting of nine floors above ground and one below has been established, and a suitable location for construction has been identified. The total floor area of the building is projected to be 23,254 square meters (approximately 7,000 ping), with construction costs estimated at NT$1 billion. Construction is in need of funds. The College of Science welcomes donations to the Earth Science & Sustainable Development Building Fund, which will contribute to creation of an enriched teaching and research environment.
